Creating the Steak & Bone Marrow Burgers

After preparing and trimming our aged steaks, what we had leftover was prime steak trimmings and a long bone with bone marrow and so our Steak & Bone Marrow burgers were created.

Although not the most appealing meaty item, bone marrow presents a whole lot of flavour. For this reason, along with its soft texture, it’s the ideal candidate for adding fat and moisture to a burger.

Another meat company that we’re very impressed with is Farmison and they too have their own take on the Steak & Bone Marrow Burgers. However, their version incorporates herbs. We choose to keep things more simple and let the flavours of the meat speak for themselves.

How Will My Steak & Bone Marrow Burgers Arrive?

Here at Meat in the Box, we’re all about  Fresh Meat Delivery and that will always remain. However, due to recipe testing and to ensure availability, this item will be delivered frozen. Once it arrives with you via our Free Next Day Delivery service you can either pop it directly into your freezer or allow to thaw out in your refrigerator.

Your meat items will arrive in an insulated box. This box and the insulation are 100% recyclable and biodegradable. Our gel freezer packs keep the box contents cool – you can’t recycle these but you can pop them back in the freezer and use them for your next picnic basket or drink bucket. We vacuum-seal or shrink-wrap each item for freshness with storage instructions displayed on each. Unfortunately, the vacuum bags and shrink wrap are not recyclable but we are currently working on a biodegradable solution. Most importantly, to ensure quality and safety, the storage instructions must be followed.

When Will My Order Arrive?

Your Meat box will arrive on the delivery day selected during checkout. You can select the next day or a date up to 60 days into the future. Our courier will do everything they can to deliver your item on the requested day before 6 pm. If you haven’t received your item by this time, please let us know.
